I've been searching for 30's and 40's wallpaper and textile patterns to use in some elements of my upcoming wedding. We're getting married at an historic hotel and the vibe is vintage Americana with a touch of Sicily, and the fun and vibrant designs of this era has been inspiring to explore. In this search I came across the gorgeous 1940's plant motifs of visionary Danish designer and architect Arne Jacobsen.
I'm in love with the vibrancy and energy of these motifs. Will these make it to wedding in some way? We'll see, but in the meantime I'll be peeking at these whenever I need a shot of color/saturation inspo.
