Rainey Street Substation
Public engagement and education materials for Austin Energy's new downtown electricity substation.
Our team lead the public engagement process for AE's new Rainey Street Substation for the duration of the project, and pivoted to online and digital outreach during the challenges of Covid-19. Our final public meeting was held online, supported by a video from planners, architects and the community to reintroduce the project history, goals, process and nearing electrification.
We produced digital, print and mailed promotional materials, social media graphics and content in English and Spanish, and produced a 5 minute educational and celebratory video to share with the community as the project reached completion, or electrification.
