
Park-a-Vision
Getting the community involved in the Zilker Park Vision Plan with bilingual outreach on a budget.
Our team played an instrumental role in getting community feedback on the Zilker Park Vision Plan, an effort to develop a comprehensive roadmap for the restoration and future development of Zilker Metropolitan Park in Austin, Texas.
We developed materials and an engagement plan to promote community meetings and surveys, and created a low-cost paid media strategy to encourage participation in the Vision Plan. We designed fun, friendly and botanically-themed bilingual social media and Spotify ads, and developed radio segments in both English and Spanish, issued press releases and did a grassroots distribution of print materials. Our efforts resulted in over 500 total meeting attendees and 3,200 survey responses across all 10 Austin City Council Districts.
